Bose Iron Factory's HAYABUSA PC IRON is made from a single piece of forged soft iron, with the pocket section machined out using CNC milling.
A typical pocket is made by welding two separate pieces together, but welding doesn't provide the soft feel that's characteristic of forged soft iron.
Creating the deep and wide pocket of HAYABUSA PC IRON requires extremely high levels of skill, but the advanced technical capabilities of BoseIronFactory and its partner companies made this pocket possible.
The split-back face structure inherited from the HAYABUSA Iron further enhances the upper and lower face forgiveness, a weakness of the pocket cavity that's resistant to up and down mishits.
The sole design employs a Falconsole, which was repeatedly tested and polished on actual turf.
Despite its wide sole, it provides excellent release from deep rough and thin grass.
